Synopsis
The garden consists of a series of separate areas including a secluded parterre garden with Buxus hedges and Thuja topiary standards and water features, each with different planting. Late mixed summer borders, hanging baskets and interesting containers and pots are colourful and meticulously maintained. Whenever possible the landscaping materials used to make the decorative paths, walls and water features are from reclaimable materials from historic sites in the Southport Area...reclaimed cobbles, a gamekeepers sink, old cast iron pump, a Victorian drainpipe and iron fireplace ...thus creating a garden of interest to complement the planting schemes.

Heather and Alan open their garden for The National Garden Scheme
