Synopsis
He moved to the Sussex farmhouse in 1984 and converted the stables into his studio. The couple's eye for colour and texture, together with their passion for nature and wildlife is apparent throughout their beautiful garden. The garden was first created from a field 30 years ago, and planted to encourage wildlife such as dragonflies, bees, wild ducks, kingfishers and owls. They use organic methods for their vegetable and cutting garden which provides fresh flowers for the house throughout the year. There is emphasis on trees, foliage, scented shrubs, old roses and naturalistic planting. This is a garden they both live and work in.
