Synopsis
Both house and garden have been carefully restored considering the monument preservation guidelines. The total surface of the estate is about 3000 m² and besides the buildings and the garden next to the main house it includes an orchard with a meadow as well. It is surrounded by a natural hedge and a wooden picket fence that is partially overgrown with roses. There is a box framed vegetable garden with a rose standard at its centre that gives structure to the garden. Many free seeding plants cover the ground between roses and perennials and let the garden look natural inspired. There are various rest areas both in shady and sunny places; the front of the house is sheltered by a pergola. A shop with romantic garden and living accessories is run by the garden's owner; some of the objects are exposed at the ancient chicken house.
