Synopsis
'Not so long ago, bearded iris flowers were restricted to blues, white or purples, with a few yellows thrown in, but today, as a result of hybridising, they come in almost every colour, except true red and black,' says Claire who holds a National Collection of more than 500 bearded irises at her nursery in mid Wales, within sight of the Shropshire hills.
