Synopsis
With its thoughtful layout and naturalistic planting, this country garden presents a beautifully harmonious picture with no jarring notes. Essentially a contemporary garden with a restricted palette of plants running in large swathes, it unfolds down a gentle slope, starting by a formal rill, passing a wildflower area and ending in flowing borders. Gardened organically, a small walled potager lies beside the house where Julia experiments with different plants.
