Synopsis
You would expect a person with a practised eye for great design and colour to have an outstanding garden, and Barbara Kennington's coastal plot on the UK's south coast does not disappoint. Barbara, a fashion forecaster, transformed an established plot into an exciting, contemporary space, converting the large and ugly swimming pool into a reflective pond with oak walkways and a shocking pink wall. The beautifully planting throughout is complemented by artworks and sculptures including a patterned pebble floor and mosaics made by Barbara.
