Synopsis
This garden is less than two years old but looks and feels like it has been there for much longer. It has it's aesthetic roots in a traditional cottage garden but has a modern twist to it. The front garden been composed like a painting with green being the dominant palette and then using flowers and foliage to add daubs of bright colour. This means that there is colour all year round. The vegetable gardens are both in ground and in raised beds and are an important part of the overall design and a constant source of food. The sunny deck at the back of the property houses a collection of many different types of potted plants as well as having room for table and chairs. The sheltered verandah has a dazzling display of tender exotic plants which includes a display of flowering orchids.
