Synopsis
Autumn is a time of harvest and you will often find yourself with too much food, if you're lucky. It is also the time when nature needs a helping hand from us. So rather than take all the fruit for yourself ensure you leave some out for the birds as the weather gets colder and they need more energy to survive. Once all the trees are bare you can create a feeder using apples and twigs - these sticks will act as perches for smaller birds who can rest on them while eating - this feeder is decorative too.
