Synopsis
As the parterre fills with tulips, a bank of daffodils glistening with dew separates the garden from pastureland where sheep graze beneath trees silhouetted against freshly ploughed fields. Further afield, the earth undulates in soft brown furrows up the hillside, eventually merging with the skyline. 'You can never tire of this view because it is forever changing with the seasons,' say Mike and Annie Johnson from their Grade II listed home and its five acres of landscaped gardens.
