Trudie Procter has lovingly created this 4 acre quintessential Italianate topiary garden, consisting of status and formal clipped Box.
The effect is mesmerising as you walk round the side of the Georgian Manor House to be greeted with pleasing sculpted Box forms and symmetry. The evergreen structure is gorgeous during the colder months particularly with long shadows created by wintery sunshine. The garden design was inspired by Sissinghurst, Levens Hall and Iford Manor. There is less emphasis on floral planting schemes, which Mrs Protecter finds high maintenance and time consuming.
