Rosemary Alexander is a Garden Designer and Principal of the well-known English Gardening School. She has written several books on Garden Design. This garden showcases her ideas put into practice. Her students come here for workshops and practical experience.

The front and rear gardens are broken up into garden rooms. The lovely front garden includes a small woodland area planted with early spring flowering shrubs and bulbs, a white garden and hot dry summer terraced area. The rear garden has mirror borders, a small decorative vegetable garden and ‘red’ border. There is also a highly textured grit and grasses garden. The gardening is done organically and environmentally friendly.
