Middleton Hall is a medieval house which had no garden of interest until the owners called in Mark Rumary, formally chief designer at Notcutts, to design a garden to reflect the Tudor origins of the house. There is a Tudor knot, but the rest of the garden has an informal and atmospheric feel. A new potager was added in the last five years and this is very stylish and productive.
